MetricMaster is a measurement unit conversion calculator for the Macintosh, containing many hundreds of metric/S.I., imperial, U.S., and other units in its database, most to 14 significant digit precision. New units can be added and unwanted ones removed. Supports ft/in/fractions, different number formats including scientific notation, and complete control of significant digits. MetricMaster can also convert currencies, clock times, and many physical constants. On-line info is available on the history and development of modern measurement systems. MetricMaster is ideal for business, engineering, architecture, or for anyone needing to do measurement conversions of any type. MetricMaster is also an excellent educational reference for all levels, with on-line bibliography and sections on the history and methodology of measurement.A shareware version of MetricMaster is available with full access the complete database for the first 50 conversions, after which it permanently reverts to a reduced unit set of 57 commonly used measurement units. This shareware version can be upgraded to the full version by entering an ID code available from the author.
