There are many items to increase your score: fruit, vegetables, diamonds, jewels etc.
Some items make your journey easy. They are called "bonuses". They appear on the stages after certain events. Some of them increase speed, range of bubbles' firing, other give you a chance to get more score points or extra lives.
On some stages you can pop special bubbles appearing from holes in the top or/and bottom of stage. These special bubbles will help you destroy monsters in different ways.
