If you do not know which chords you are playing, try ChordIdentifyerTM. ChordIdentifyerTM identifies the chord names matching your fingering. This is especially useful for songwriters. Its amazing how new songs comes along when you are in the right mood and holding a guitar. Take some known chords, make some adjustments, play them your way, and suddenly you have created your own composition. After adding some lyrics you want to write down your chords along with the lyrics. Then you realize that you do not know the names of at least half of the chords in the song. This makes it difficult to communicate your music to other musicians. In ChordIdentifyerTM, simply register your fingering on the guitar like in this example: X32010.
