Automatically detect and fix security vulnerabilities on your network with GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner (LANNSS). GFI LANguard N.S.S. is free for non-commercial use. LANNSS scans entire networks from a 'hacker's' perspective, and analyses machines for open ports, shares, security alerts/vulnerabilities, service pack level, installed hotfixes and other NETBIOS information such as hostname, logged on user name, users etc. It does OS detection, password strength testing and detects registry issues. GFI LANguard N.S.S. is a complete patch management solution. After it has scanned your network and determined missing patches and service packs - both in the operating system (OS) and in the applications - you can use GFI LANguard N.S.S. to deploy those service packs and patches network-wide. Scan reports are customisable, outputted in HTML, and can be compared to previous scans, allowing you to easily see changes in your network.
