NameWiz is a fast, easy way to rename sequentially named files at one time to whatever you desire. It is particularly useful for graphics files downloaded from the Internet or those that may be in your browser's cache that you want to save. It can also be useful for programmers or those who create sequential versions of text files and so on. Operation is simple just select the file extension, type in the new name, and the files are renamed en masse. NameWiz works with long and short filenames, will create upper or lowercase names, sorting by name, extension, date/time, ascending/descending order, wildcard rename, multiple extension, partial name, prefix/surfix, leading, change/remove extension, preview, error checking, file selection by position, rename files either numerically or alphabetically, Optionally copy or move files before or after renaming and it also trim the sequential numbers.
