The images are constructed from multiple, textured 3D models and backgrounds with simulated 3D effects. Each 3D model can be individually colored, textured, and precisely positioned in the image. Features: extraction of picture components; true merging of multiple images with user control for intensity; pasting of one image on another; import function for VRML models with texture and color; 3D rotate, pan, and zoom; shaded or polygon display; background grid for precise positioning; user defined transparency, colors, textures, orientations, light position, shadowing, and reflection; 3D model editing including fixing common surface problems on 3D models and rescaling in x, y, or z dimensions; functions to extract sub-models from a model; 3D effects for 2D backgrounds; 4 user selectable image quality levels (using anti-aliasing); ability to edit images even after the 3D models have been merged into the background.
