MessengerShield allows you to block spam displayed in message boxes. MessengerShield disables a Windows service called Messenger (not to be confused with MSN Messenge or Windows Messengerr). When this service is enabled, spammers could use it to send you spam!Most people don't know about this and that it's actually very easy to prevent this kind of intrusion. MessengerShield makes it easy for everyone to manage the Messenger service.

This is the Freeware version.
